Bruno Mantovani with the Trio Wanderer

Internationally renowned French composer Bruno Mantovani regularly draws inspiration from musical works of the past to create eminently contemporary works. This CD presents five pieces for strings and piano, some of which refer to Franz Schubert, Béla Bartók, Maurice Ravel or the most musical of all painters: Paul Klee. These abundant pages are in no way pastiches or variations, but contemporary interpretations of masterpieces from the history of music.
